Zoo Med Eco Earth Coconut Fibre Substrate is a natural compressed coconut husk brick designed for reptile, amphibian and invertebrate terrariums. When water is added, the brick expands to produce several litres of soft, natural substrate that supports burrowing behaviour and helps maintain humidity inside the enclosure.
This eco-friendly substrate is made from renewable coconut fibre and is highly absorbent, helping control odours while creating a naturalistic environment for your animals. It can be used damp for tropical species or allowed to dry slightly for species that require lower humidity.
Eco Earth is widely used in naturalistic and bioactive terrariums and can also be mixed with sand, bark or soil substrates to create customised digging and burrowing environments.
