Choosing insect care products

Separate food from hydration

Dry insect food and moisture products serve different needs. Read the directions to understand how they should be offered together.

Match the product to the insect

General feeder foods, silkworm chow and clean-up crew foods are not interchangeable. Choose the appropriate gutloader for the livefood you are maintaining.

Keep feeding areas clean

Offer food in clean, accessible dishes and replace it as directed. Remove spoiled food promptly and avoid allowing dry foods to become mouldy.
