Why Choose Internet Reptile Boarding?

At Internet Reptile, boarding is built around animal welfare, strict operational processes, and species-appropriate care — not simply temporary holding. Whether you are boarding a bearded dragon, tortoise, snake, gecko, amphibian, or invertebrate, every animal is cared for using the same structured standards we apply across our wider reptile operations.

✔ Spacious, species-appropriate accommodation
✔ Controlled heating, UV and environmental management
✔ Daily health and welfare checks
✔ Strict hygiene and biosecurity procedures
✔ Experienced reptile team
✔ Food, water and cleaning included

Welfare-First Care

Every boarding animal is managed under a structured care approach designed to promote stability, reduce stress, and maintain high welfare standards throughout their stay.

Environmental control
Species-appropriate heat, thermostatic control, and environmental management.
Appropriate UV provision
UV lighting provided where required for the species and setup.
Daily welfare checks
Animals are checked each day for general condition, behaviour, and obvious concerns.
Strict hygiene standards
Cleaning and contamination-control procedures are built into day-to-day care.
Species-aware feeding
Routine feeding and husbandry are managed in line with the animal’s needs.
Low-stress approach
We prioritise calm, appropriate housing and minimal unnecessary disruption.

Spacious Accommodation

We do not treat boarding as a one-size-fits-all service. Animals are housed according to their size, needs and suitability, with accommodation selected to support thermoregulation, shelter, hydration and general comfort.

Familiar décor from home can often be brought in where appropriate and beneficial, helping some animals settle more comfortably during their stay.

Simple Grouped Pricing

To keep pricing fair and consistent, boarding is grouped by enclosure size and general care requirements rather than by species alone. This allows us to price more accurately based on the space, setup and resources each animal requires.
