The ProRep Heater Guard is a robust metal safety cage designed to prevent reptiles from coming into direct contact with hot heat lamps or ceramic heaters inside the vivarium. By creating a protective barrier around the heating element, heater guards help prevent burns while still allowing heat to circulate effectively.

Constructed from strong metal mesh with a heat-resistant coating, ProRep Heater Guards are ideal for use with ceramic heat emitters, basking bulbs and other vivarium heating equipment. Multiple sizes and shapes allow you to choose the correct guard for your enclosure setup.

How to Use

Mount the heater guard securely inside the vivarium using suitable screws. Position the guard so it fully encloses the heating device while allowing sufficient space for airflow. Always ensure the heating element is installed safely and compatible with the guard size.

Suitable For

Heater guards are commonly used with ceramic heat emitters, basking bulbs and other reptile heating elements in wooden vivariums.

Always ensure adequate clearance between the bulb and guard
