ProRep Coco chips, derived from the fibrous husk of coconuts, serve as an excellent substrate for reptiles in captivity. These chips provide a naturalistic environment, replicating the reptile’s native habitat. Coco chips retain moisture well, aiding in humidity regulation crucial for certain reptile species. Additionally, they promote burrowing behaviours in reptiles like snakes and lizards, allowing them to exhibit natural behaviours and feel secure in their enclosures. Furthermore, coco chips are resistant to mold and decay, ensuring a clean and hygienic environment for reptiles.
