This substrate is perfect for me with my Indonesian blue tongue skink, as it holds humidity really well and has a loose texture so he can burrow in it easily and feed off it without risking compaction. I pair it with leaf litter to make a really nice, naturalistic environment for my bluey, and use it on its own for my royal pythons too because of the low risk of compaction, the inclusion of pieces of sphagnum moss to hold humidity, and how loose it is allowing them to make little depressions in it in high traffic areas. I really recommend this substrate for tropical reptiles, I personally wouldn't use anything else as it makes my animals really happy
