Additionally, these lamps emit small amounts of UVA to promote a natural environment for your reptile. To ensure optimal basking conditions, be sure to select the correct lamp size for your enclosure and use an appropriate fixture for the wattage and fitting of the lamp.
Place the lamp above the intended basking area, ideally around one sixth to a third from the end of the enclosure, to establish a thermal gradient. It is important to monitor temperatures regularly using a thermometer and provide a basking area large enough for your reptile to fully warm its body. Easy to put together, simple instructions, sturdy and aesthetically pleasing.
Great little kit, everything was well packaged and simple to put together. My only issue is the the bulb holder didn't come with any screws. A little inconvenient if you don't have any screws laying around but I did luckily.
so i tent to only give maybe 3 at a time. with juvi dragon female she goes nuts for them.
