The ProRep Lamp Dome with PID Dimming Thermostat combines a durable aluminium reflector, E27 ceramic lamp holder and intelligent dimming thermostat in one convenient unit. Simply set the required temperature, position the supplied probe at the basking area and the integrated thermostat automatically adjusts the lamp output to maintain a stable temperature.
Unlike a basic on/off thermostat, PID dimming control continuously adjusts the power supplied to a compatible heat lamp. This provides smoother temperature regulation without repeatedly switching the lamp fully on and off, helping to maintain a more consistent basking environment.
With the thermostat already integrated into the lamp fitting, there is no need to purchase and connect a separate controller. A clear digital display provides straightforward temperature monitoring and adjustment, while power-loss memory retains your settings following an interruption to the electricity supply.

Suitable Heat Sources
Designed for use with incandescent basking lamps, halogen heat lamps and other compatible dimmable heat lamps, subject to the maximum wattage of the selected model.
Not suitable for fluorescent lamps, compact fluorescent lamps, LED lamps, mercury vapour lamps, metal halide lamps or other non-dimmable lighting devices.

100W: 140mm dome, suitable for compatible lamps up to 100W.
150W: 215mm dome, suitable for compatible lamps up to 150W.
Important
The lamp dome becomes hot during operation and is intended for indoor use only. Position the fitting and temperature probe correctly, prevent animals from coming into direct contact with hot surfaces, and always follow the supplied instructions.
