HabiStat Repti-Turf is a natural, plant-based substrate designed specifically for tortoises and other herbivorous reptiles. Made from compressed grass pellets sourced from UK crops, it provides a clean, practical, and environmentally friendly base for your enclosure.
This highly absorbent substrate helps manage moisture and odours, keeping your setup fresher for longer. Its low-dust composition supports cleaner conditions, making it ideal for both indoor tortoise tables and vivariums.
Repti-Turf is also fully compostable, making it a sustainable choice for reptile keepers who want a natural and easy-to-maintain substrate solution.
Spread an even layer of up to 10cm across the enclosure floor, depending on your species and setup. Spot clean daily to remove waste.
Avoid over-hydrating the pellets. Replace substrate fully every 6–12 months, or sooner if required.
