Made from untreated spruce and fir trees, HabiStat Lignocel is perfect for snakes, particularly for snakes not requiring high humidity.
Lignocel is soft and extremely absorbent; great for trapping unwanted smells and is easy to clean.
Our range of HabiStat substrates are packed in 100% recyclable and biodegradable paper bags.
Directions for Use: Spread substrate evenly across vivarium base ensuring a depth of 2" (5cm). Do not overfill if using underfloor heating. Spot clean as required and replace regularly.

I get this Lignocel for my little Hognose baby! He absolutely loves to dig through it and finds it easier than aspen! It’s way softer than other substrates and comes in recyclable packaging which makes it even better!

Easy to put together, simple instructions, sturdy and aesthetically pleasing.
Great little kit, everything was well packaged and simple to put together. My only issue is the the bulb holder didn't come with any screws. A little inconvenient if you don't have any screws laying around but I did luckily.
