HabiStat Leopard Gecko Substrate is a natural, species-specific blend designed to recreate the sandy-loam environments found in the wild habitats of leopard geckos across Pakistan and Northern India.
This carefully balanced substrate provides a stable yet workable texture that allows for natural digging and burrowing, while helping to maintain essential humidity gradients within the enclosure.
By mimicking natural terrain, it encourages instinctive behaviours, promotes activity, and helps create a more enriching and realistic habitat for your gecko.
Ideal for both naturalistic and bioactive setups, this substrate provides a functional and visually authentic base for leopard gecko enclosures.
Spread an even layer across the enclosure floor to your desired depth. Lightly compact the lower layers to create a stable base, leaving the top layer looser for natural movement and digging.
Spot clean daily and replace fully every 6–12 months, or as required. For enhanced natural setups, combine with leaf litter and other substrates.
