HabiStat Jungle Bio Substrate is a premium, ready-to-use blend designed for tropical bioactive enclosures. Inspired by nutrient-rich rainforest soils, it creates a natural foundation that supports a healthy, self-sustaining ecosystem.

This substrate is ideal for housing reptiles, amphibians, and invertebrates that require higher humidity environments. It helps retain moisture effectively while supporting the growth of beneficial microfauna, including clean-up crews such as springtails and isopods.

By promoting natural moisture cycling and biological activity, Jungle Bio helps maintain a balanced enclosure with reduced maintenance and improved environmental stability.

Perfect for fully bioactive or naturalistic setups, it provides both a functional and visually authentic base layer for tropical habitats.

Directions for Use

Spread an even layer across the enclosure base to your desired depth. Lightly compact the lower layers to support structure, leaving the top layer looser.

Maintain appropriate moisture levels for your species and introduce microfauna where required. Spot clean as needed and replace substrate fully every 6–12 months.

For best results, combine with a drainage layer (such as clay balls) and top with leaf litter.
