Description

HabiStat Desert Sand is a natural reptile substrate designed for species that thrive in dry, arid environments. Available in both red and yellow variants, it helps recreate the look and feel of authentic desert landscapes.

The fine, natural texture supports instinctive behaviours such as digging and burrowing, while also providing a clean and visually striking base for your enclosure. Ideal for species such as bearded dragons, geckos, and other desert-dwelling reptiles.

Use Desert Sand on its own for a simple, low-maintenance setup, or blend it with other substrates to create depth, variation, and a more enriched environment.

Directions for Use

Spread evenly across the enclosure to your desired depth. For burrowing species, lightly compact the lower layers before adding a looser top layer to support structure.

Spot clean daily and replace fully every 6–12 months, or as required.
