Description

HabiStat Clay Balls are designed to form a reliable drainage layer beneath your main substrate in bioactive and naturalistic enclosures. Positioned at the base of the setup, they help separate excess water from the upper substrate layers, preventing saturation and maintaining a balanced environment.

This drainage layer is essential for tropical and high-humidity enclosures, helping to reduce the risk of stagnant conditions and root rot while supporting healthy plant growth.

By improving water management and airflow within the enclosure, clay balls also help extend the lifespan of your substrate and support a more stable, self-sustaining ecosystem.

Directions for Use

Rinse thoroughly before use. Add an even layer across the base of your enclosure to your desired depth.

Once in place, add a barrier layer (such as mesh if required), followed by your chosen substrate and decorative top layers.
