The Arcadia ShadeDweller Mini UVB lighting kit is a UVB lamp designed for shallow vivaria.

This UVB light kit comes standard with a specially designed flat reflector, fittings kit, power cable, switch, linking cable, flicker-free components, and the 7% ShadeDweller™ lamp.

The Arcadia Mini UVB lamp kit is ideal for smaller enclosures (up to 30cm high). The shallow profile fits smaller areas and prevents the risk of your reptiles burning themselves or getting too close to the lamp.

The reflector ensures maximum UVB lamp coverage for effective basking and heating temperatures. The smaller profile and design make this lamp popular with pet owners of smaller reptiles like leopard geckos, snake hatchlings, amphibians, and invertebrates.

The long-lasting UVB lamp delivers uninterrupted UVB rays promoting growth and activity.

Fantastic works as it should

Perfect size and...

Having a leopard gecko I have to be careful about the strength of the UVB and not flood my enclosure. This ready to go unit provides just the right amount of UVB and visible light. It is not too much Visible light as keeping albino geckos they can be sensitive to it.

My only criticisms are with the mounting design. Due to the fact the unit is designed to slide onto two brackets you cannot fix both brackets in place otherwise you can't slide it on due to them being opposite sides and both wanting to slide outwards from the unit.

The reflector also does not do alot, I stuck mine on with a sticky pad but its just a hazy bit of rough metal. A mirror finish would have been better.

All in all though for the price this unit does exactly what it was designed to do and suitable for smaller setups and sensitive creatures.
